thanklessness is just a habit – i like that -means it is something that can be shaped and changed

Yes, one can learn gratitude from thanklessness and shift back again. When you are too happy with something, thanking could become a burden and formality. Consider this: A thousand things, including this blog, couldn’ve have been possible if it wasn’t for my keyboard. What do I do, say thanks with every hit of the key? No! The fact that I use it a lot means I am being very thankful to it.
The point being: Say thanks only when you feel compelled, not when you think you are supposed to as a formality.

See, you made your own quote. I never looked at it that way and it is amazingly accurate. Everyone know what is a habit, they are habitual to know themselves, adopt, and reject.

i thought yes but you made me think it so its yours just as much mine heehee! i teach my kids mindfulness and thankfulness but it does not stop there, i ask them that when they pray for others let that person cross their mind and then we become thankful for them and in turn thankful the material things we need to live, and always a mindfulness and awareness of who we are regardless of what we have materially – makes sense? well my kids understand this crazy Mama! thank you for creating this awareness in me today

“i teach my kids mindfulness and thankfulness”
Your are doing angels a great favor, your lessons will become their shadows that you just wrote about. Of course, everything you say makes sense.
Fun point: Thanks is actually a word I use a lot. Although, I always hit friends for saying thanks, I always have a good reason to say thanks to them. I think people should because its nice.

it is nice – pleasantries in life should never be taken for granted – my kids friends know if they are in my home or around me they must be pleasant to each other, like is so much more than love in todays world and we need to like each other more , it starts by being pleasant and saying thanks or please…words like that

I agree, completely. Now that we know each other a little btter, If I 🙂 it means thank you, and if I said meh, multiply that thank you a billion times… I just made that up but I mean it too.

Oh, yea me too. ALiF comes under the category of “IT/Him”. When it becomes non-living it becomes a ball and plays with me a lot, sometimes it becomes a sword and cuts my mind in half so I can see more vividly… it is crazy you see this entire website is dedicated to ALiF. It is the title of the website, “A Lovely imaginary Friend!” Basically, it is the first alphabet in Urdu.

and the first alphabet in Arabic! Which I can actually read! Nice to meet you! so I can call you Mr. Alif? I like the way you got that ALIF – a lovely imaginary friend!

Trust me, I didn’t give him that name, he picked it up for himself. I’m just responsible for creating the full form. Please don’t call me ALiF, I created a separate account as ‘The Imaginary’ just to avoid that! Call me anything you want but that because I know I am not ALiF in the least sense.

ALiF is the connection, if it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here. I have tried so many times to start a personal blog, but it never happened until ALiF returned. You see, It is my treasure box.
